Coach Neil Colton and Coach Michael Shenk welcome you to join us for the first annual summer soccer pick-up games at Vint Hill. These games are for all soccer players, boys and girls, U-5 to U-10. The purpose for these games is to maintain and nurture the kid’s enthusiasm for soccer and allows them work on their skills in an un-pressured environment. Teams will be made up by the kids that day and every week teams will be different. This will allow the kids to work and learn together with different skill levels. There will be no referees. The kids will call the games themselves. These games are strictly optional, just show up if you want to play. U-12 to U17, boys and girls, are welcome as well. They will need to set their own field up for play, but we will have an area for them.  All coaches are welcome to join us and assist in supervising the games.

Location: Vint Hill fields closest to baseball fields

Parking: Parking spaces nearest little league field, the pavilion across the street and the main parking lot for the recreation center.

Start date: Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Begin play time: 5 PM to 7 PM

What to bring: white t-shirt, dark t-shirt, plenty of water or Gatorade, first aid kit, snack if you get hungry, soccer ball (size appropriate), shin guards, cleats and a towel.
