We have many “firsts” for the Club this month.  We start a new season on September 8^th in a day-long celebration with the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility (WARF).  We hope that all the youth can join us in front of Fauquier High School at 9:30 a.m. for the parade starting at 9:45 a.m. When the children arrive over at WARF, the official ribbon-cutting will be held at 10:00 a.m. and throughout the day there will be sports demonstrations, visits from DC United, soccer clinics for special needs and of course, games by our very own FCSC Teams.  This is a day that you won’t want to miss; come early, stay late and make sure to keep an eye open for all the children that will be out that day.  Drive slowly and let’s leave the cell phones off until we leave the parking lot.

 In addition to the Grand Opening of WARF, we are getting ready for the Hunt County Classic.  This is the premier event of the Club with invitations going out to over 5,000 individuals representing over 500 teams across the area.  We have the opportunity to showcase our new fields, promote our hard-working travel teams, as well as watch some great soccer.  Make sure you mark down November 16-18 on your calendar to volunteer and be a part of this very special weekend.

  We are a new Board, we have some big shoes to follow from those that have served before us, and we want to make soccer an important part of your lives.  We also want an open door policy. While we cannot promise that every request can be granted or every complaint resolved to your satisfaction, we will promise to listen and take considered action after deliberation. We are looking forward to meeting you, talking with you and working with you.  This club is about you, the members, your children, and the love of the game.  Join us on September 10^th at 7 p.m. at the Warrenton Community Center for the next Board Meeting.  We welcome your questions, concerns, and ideas.
