All House League matches will be played in accordance with the current Laws of the Game, as approved by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), with modifications as set forth below:
Law 1 - The Field of Play
Field Markings
Field Markings will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.
Dimensions
Dimensions will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.
The Goal Area
The Goal Area will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.
The Penalty Area
The Penalty Area will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.
Goals
Goals will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.
The Field of Play
The Field of Play will be in accordance with the FCSC approved Field of Play.

Law 3 - The Number of Players
Number of Players
A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than five players, none of whom are a goalkeeper.
A match may not start if either team consists of fewer than three players.
A team with an insufficient number of players may borrow one or more available players from the opposing team with the consent of the referee and the opposing team’s coach.
The match will be abandoned under all other circumstances.
Number of Substitutions
An unlimited number of substitutes may be used.
Law 4 - The Players’ Equipments
Colours
The ’Home’ team will wear black.
The ’Away’ team will wear white.
Law 7 - The Duration of the Match
Periods of Play
The match lasts two equal periods of 25 minutes.
In the event of extreme conditions, the match may be divided into quarters or shortened with the agreement of both coaches and the referee.
Half-Time Interval
The half-time interval must not exceed 5 minutes. The quarter-time interval, if applicable, must not exceed 2 minutes.
Allowance for Time Lost
There will be no allowance for any time lost.
Law 11 - Offside
Offence
A player in an offside position will not be penalised and play will continue.
Infringements and Sanctions
In the event of an offside offence, play will continue.
Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct
Direct Free Kick
An indirect free kick will be awarded where an offence would otherwise result in a direct free kick.
A free kick will not be awarded to the opposing team if a player handles the ball deliberately, unless the handling is deemed flagrant by the referee.
Law 13 - Free Kicks
Position of Free Kick
All opponents must be at least 4 yards from the ball, unless they are on their own goal line between the goal posts.
Law FCSC1 - The Competitive Match
Introduction
In the event one team obtains a lead of five or more goals, the number of players will be modified to promote a more competitive match.
Procedure
The team with a greater number of goals will withdraw one player from the field of play with the consent of the referee.
In the event play remains non-competitive, the team with a lesser number of goals may introduce one additional player to the field of play with the consent of the referee.
Once the goal differential has been reduced to four or fewer goals, the coach of the team with the lesser number of goals must immediately notify the referee and withdraw the additional player.
Once the goal differential has been reduced to three or fewer goals, the coach of the team with the greater number of goals may notify the referee and reintroduce the withdrawn player.
