TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is the official United States Youth Soccer (USYS) program for enriching the lives of children with learning and/or physical disabilities through the game of soccer. TOPSoccer promotes inclusion in soccer for all children.

Purpose

The primary objective of TOPSoccer is to provide an opportunity for children with special needs to learn about and have fun playing soccer, while improving their self-esteem and physical fitness level and enhancing their socialization skills.

Who is eligible for TOPSoccer?

Any youth player between the ages of 4-19 years old having a physical or learning disability who wants to play the sport of soccer is eligible to participate in TOPSoccer. The emphasis of this program is on development, training and providing meaningful participation rather than on competition.

FCSC offers TOPSoccer to our community free of charge.

FCSC TOPSoccer

The FCSC TOPSoccer program was well represented at the 2^nd Annual Dave Williams TOPSoccer Festival at Annandale HS on February 23.  Athletes from throughout the Commonwealth participated in this celebration.  TOPSoccer, or simply TOPS, is US Youth Soccer’s program for children with learning and or physical disabilities.

100% of funds raised benefit the children in the FCSC TOPSoccer program.  There are no paid employees or coaches.  Funds are used for equipment, uniforms and special activities.
