Dear coaches and managers,

Thank you for attending our inaugural Fauquier Friendlies tournament. Regrettably, the overnight rains and field conditions prevented us from completing today’s final games. Each team will receive $125 towards the 2009 Fauquier Friendlies registration fee.

I saw many of the games and was thrilled to see teams promoting passing, possession, dribbling, and creativity over winning. This was the spirit of the tournament, following US Soccer guidelines. This accomplishment is a credit to you all. I welcome any ideas on how to make next year’s tournament even better.

Participation medals will be sent to each team. Please email your team mailing address. Thank you again for your participation and I look forward to seeing you at next year’s tournament.
