Fellow Members:
With all that snow on the ground, it is difficult to imagine the Spring Season is just around the corner. We are approaching the registration deadlines so don’t forget to finish your registration process, or come down to Wal*Mart on Sunday the 21st, between 1:00PM and 4:00PM, and register in person.
There are so many things we need to share with you, as is always the case this time of the year, so what do you say we get that out of the way?
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
As a volunteer driven organization, we need coaches at the following levels:
U5/U6: 1 U6 coach Warrenton practice area
U8Girls: 1 coach –Warrenton practice area
U8Boys: 2 coaches-1 Warrenton practice area
1 Southern practice area
U10Girls: 1 coach-Warrenton practice U16 Boys: 1 coach
U14Boys: 1 coach U19 Boys: 1 coach
We also have volunteer openings on each of our Committees. Got a particular passion, contact either the Club Administrator or me and we’ll help you identify a way to “scratch that itch”.
AGM MEETING
Our official AGM session will be held at 9:00AM on Saturday March 13th at the Community Center. During that session, we will conclude the election process for the open seats on our Board of Directors. We currently have three (3) seats up for election, with only one (1) current Board Member seeking reelection. If you have an interest in serving on our Board and would like to be a candidate, please contact me at your earliest convenience. We will also accept nominations from the floor on the 13th.
To make it easier for a greater portion of our Membership to participate in the AGM process, we will also meet at the Community Center at 7:00PM on Friday the 12th as well. All votes cast that evening will be held over to be included in the final count of the 13th. We will of course go through an abbreviated Review Recap as well.
FUND-RAISER:
As I’ve shared with you previously, we are working on a variety of new initiatives to support our Club. In the very near future, we will be announcing the specifics of a very special Fund-Raising Event the evening of April the 17th.
